Blu-ray/DVD releases Cinco/Ocho! Who is getting it?

I pre-ordered it at Amazon for the cool price of $18. Oddly, thats the blu/DVD/digital copy version. The blu-ray only version is $25. So you pay more... for less?

The Amazon page has a new 7 minute interview with Amazon. Lots of jokes and goofs, worth a watch. Tim and Eric keeps getting amazon packages during the interview.

I watched all the special features, aside from the commentary, last night. Thoughtz and detailz:

• Deleted scenes: Great collection of these. I think there was around 9 minutes? David's cameo is found here. He was originally meant to sing over the sex/shrim scene. ::hart:: I will not spoil any more. ;)

• Extaaaanded scenes: Will F's scene is LONG. I'm talking 15 minutes long! From entering the office to Will running from the mall, it's hugely expanded. It's almost like a short film. Lots more Top Gun, more floppy disc jokes, more "money" lines. Overall my favorite deleted bit. There is also more stuff with T&E in their celeb crib. Eric's "mom" has a short scene. Apparently she smells like shit.

• Good Evening S'wallow Valley: 8 minute interview piece. Some gags and goofs. Interviews with the supporting cast. Doug Foster, of Check It Out and the Sleepwatching Chair commercial is hilarious. He gets a little too comfy in the interview, thinks he has crossed the line in talking about T&E (he didn't) and then he gets all reserved and takes back what he said. Really funny moment.

• Interview with T&E: Super long 22 minute interview, which is the uncut raw footage from the next feature.

• HDNet: A look at the movie: 4 minute promo from HDnet with bits from the interview above.

• Promos: Really great collection here. They have the YouTube promos leading up to the release. So it has the awesome NACA Challenge video. Also has the Sundance interview where they talk about being Rango'd. Also includes a few more YouTube vids.

• Shrim screensaver: Shrim dance on loop for 4 hours

• Poster and production photo gallery: A lot of black and white set photos. Also four posters.

• Red band AND green band trailers

Hey SOJ, I have an important question that I hope you can answer. (but first I am going to provide some backstory that will perhaps make my question easier to address)

You clearly bought the DVD/Bluray/Digital version.

I'm assuming that, by having this triple version, you just have three ways to watch the same exact movie/extras.

The reason why I haven't accessed Amazon dot com and ordered the heck out of this movie is I don't know if the special features and commentary are spliced across the three versions.

For example, the special feature entitled Bob Zone: A Tribute To Bob Odenkirk is only found on disc 2 of the complete series collection of Tom Goes to the Mayor, a three-disc dvd set.

Unfortunately, I do not have a machine that plays blu-ray discs. I do not own any blu-ray movies.

My question is this:

Will I be missing out on the features you listed in your last comment (I skimmed over your comment above to avoid spoilers!) as someone who only has a dvd player?

Please tell me I will have full-access to absolutely everything.
Rest in peace, Richard Dunn

@Rang Dipkin: I'll check as soon as I get home! Didn't think to check the DVD.

However, looking at Barnes & Noble's website, they have the features listed as the following on the DVD page:
Closed Caption; Behind the Scenes; Deleted Scenes; Extended Scenes; Interview with Tim & Eric; Commentary with Tim & Eric; HDNet: A look at Tim & Eric's Billion Dollar Movie; Promo Video$; Shrim Screensaver; Posters

That seems to be all of them, so I'm leaning towards a yes, but I'll dudley dip tonight to make shrim (sure).

To answer Dipkin's question, the DVD has all the same extra features as the Blu ray disk. I don't have a Blu ray player, so I bought myself a DVD copy from a record store. Turns out the cashier was a Tim ad Eric fan too and we had a nice conversation about Steve Brule. :D :D :D
it made my day.
