So, I did better...and extracted the interview and made it available as an MP3!

You know, it almost sounds as though Tim's rather discouraged. I feel sorry for'em ^ ^; so many non-fans. That whole interview just made me feel both bad for them and laugh at Tim's remarks to the horrible callers, haha.

it sounded to me like they planned the call-ins as a joke. the entire thing sounded like a big joke. i wouldnt feel sorry for them... they're living out their dream... reaching for the stars... *sigh* six more days in kalamazoo.

That's true. I guess I just felt sorry for them since they're so worn out that day and they just happened to get negative callers to top it off :'(

I thought about that, too. The calls could've been staged, but they sounded so very authentic. Although I still doubt they were, I wouldn't be surprised

I just think that first caller is ridiculous. He sounds so staged, and the whole radio-host-being-the-star-of-the-show.com thing sounds very, very T&E

or maybe he was calling, as a fan, simply to fuck with them... to freestyle with the masters of improv

I think about 80% of the calls on Tom Sharpling's show are staged. They are just a big group of friends that mess with each other constantly. Funny stuff.

this whole interview was a joke. you guys should know by now... i love that the guy believed they were sent to promote tom goes to the mayor by handing out scripts for seven days in a town that doesn't even have cable... they kept piling it on even higher afterwards and he swallowed it all

kalamazoo lol. that first call was pretty annoying, it had some ok parts though. the hotel worker calling was absolutely hilarious, i loved it
